Katy Perry 'Hopped Like a Bunny' After Kissing Russell Brand

Katy Perry is thrilled to have a "teammate" in her brand new fiancé Russell Brand. "I'm excited to find a partner who can just be my teammate," the "I Kissed a Girl" singer tells Glamour in its February "Man Issue," on newsstands Jan. 12. "And there's got to be respect. For me, that's hard because it's easy for me to steamroll guys. I need a man who tells me the party's over, that it's time to go home, because [we] have to work in the morning.” The interview was done before the couple confirmed their New Year's Eve engagement on Wednesday, but Perry does deliver the dish on meeting her man. '"When [Russell] was filming Get Him to the Greek, I did a cameo with him. My scene called for me to make out with him. And on the way down the stairs after the scene, I was hopping like a bunny. I hop like a bunny when I’m happy – I get a bit childlike," says Perry, 25, who has been dating Brand, 34, since the fall.
Perry also talks about the challenge of getting close to people. “I have always been this character, but I kind of cartoon-ized myself a little bit [in my stage persona].
