Eva Longoria Parker's Vice: Mexican Food

Forget a sweet tooth. Eva Longoria Parker's cravings run south of the border. "Anytime there is Mexican food around, you can bet I’ll be eating it," she told PEOPLE last Thursday at the opening of her restaurant Beso inside Las Vegas's new CityCenter complex. I'm not a chocolate person and I’m not into sweets. I'm a meal [person]." A self-confessed "foodie," Longoria Parker, 34, said one of the main reasons she and husband, NBA star Tony Parker, go to Sin City is for the cuisine. Now she has her own Vegas restaurant to satisfy her cravings. "For me to actually stand side by side with Wolfgang Puck in the same arena is a little mind blowing," she said of her 6,000 square-foot eatery. The Desperate Housewives actress said she was heavily involved in the construction of her Latin steakhouse and adjoining nightclub, Eve. "I’ve been in Vegas every week," she said, adding that she had her hand in every aspect of Beso, from the décor, to the employee uniforms and recipes.
