Dean McDermott: I’d Love to Be on Dancing with the Stars!

Dean McDermott — known to take on anything from scuba diving to racing motorcycles on his and wife Tori Spelling’s Oxygen reality show Home Sweet Hollywood — is not one to turn down a challenge. But this time, his new goal might be a surprise. “I’d love to be on Dancing with the Stars,” says McDermott, who is the Grand Marshall of the Los Angeles Ride for Autism this Saturday. “It looks like the scariest thing in the world.” Why DWTS? “I’m a huge fan of the show and it looks like a lot of hard work,” says McDermott, who has been rumored to be a possible contestant on the show. “I tend to gravitate towards anything that’s a challenge.” As for his dancing skills, McDermott admits to PEOPLE that he might be in for an uphill battle. “I have no dancing skills whatsoever except for the improv stripper moves which Tori thinks I’m pretty good at,” he says with a laugh. “I’m 6′ 3” with size 14 feet, so I’m like a giraffe. My dance partner would be stepped on constantly.” Luckily, he already has one fan. “I’d be so psyched if he was on the show!” says Spelling. “I’d be in the front row every week. I think he’d be amazing.”
