Fergie: Marriage is 'Like Coming Home'

Marriage agrees with Fergie. During her 34th birthday celebration Friday night at the Fontainebleau Resort's Liv night club in Miami Beach, the smiling singer gushed about life as a newlywed with her husband of two months, husband Josh Duhamel. "Now that the wedding is over, we are so chill and comfortable together – the feeling I have about Josh is like coming home," Fergie tells PEOPLE about life after their Jan. 10 nuptials in Malibu. "There is that small and intimate feeling I have all of the time that tells me things are so right! It was wonderful to share our special day with families and friends. But now we can be casual and happy and move ahead." Looking trim and toned in a short and shimmering cocktail dress with silver pumps, Fergie wore her new brown hair long, straight and sexy. Earlier in the evening she showed off her flat stomach and legs while reuniting with the Black Eyed Peas for the Ultrafest IV concert in Miami's Bayfront Park. During her late-night birthday party at Liv, which featured spinning from a variety of deejays in town for the Winter Music Conference (including Miami's popular DJ Irie), Fergie and Duhamel sat in the secluded VIP room a level above the hundreds of other partygoers who lined up around the hotel to see the singer. Fergie – who was also joined by members of the Black Eyed Peas for the celebration – blew out the candles on her cake, then kissed her husband. The couple stayed at the birthday celebration until about 2 a.m.
