Lohan Walks with Just One Day in Prison

Must've been the "spring me out of the slammer fast" special weekend, folks, as another one of the stars we were oh so counting on to give us a nice jail house diary in a few years' time filled with loads of interesting facts about life in the slammer somehow managed to avoid it. So it's no joy again, as former teenage star, currently detoxing Lindsay Lohan has managed to walk with a one day conviction after she (through her attorney) pleaded guilty to two counts of being under the influence of cocaine and pleaded no contest to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 percent or higher and reckless driving. One day in jail and 10 days of community service. Wow. Poor, poor thing, I wonder how she's going to manage it – although in the light of recent events, she's clever enough to do a Nicole and walk after half an hour or something. But Lindsay apparently knows just how horribly bad she has been and is quite keen on letting us all know how she's seeking help and all that. "I very much want to be healthy and gain control of my life and career and have asked for medical help in doing so. I am taking these steps to improve my life. Luckily, I am not alone in my daily struggle and I know that people like me have succeeded. Maybe with time it will become easier. I hope so".
But, apparently, the Lohans are set to family mode right now and the whole family, Ali included, is visiting Lindsay at her Utah rehab center – you know, the place where she rides a bike and hikes and rides and does all those fun, summer camp activities rehab is all about. And they're all probably celebrating Lindsay's close brush with jail. But at the rate their daughters are going, I for one wonder how long before the next family rehab reunion.
