Lead Pussy Goes Solo

Just like it happened with the Black Eyed Peas, the leading female vocalist in the Pussycat Dolls says she wants to work on a solo LP. As a matter of fact, Nicole has already started working on a couple of new tracks, in collaboration with all the big names in the music industry. The idea came to Nicole when P. Diddy asked her to sing with him for the 'Come To Me' single, fresh off the rapper's latest album, 'Press Play'. 'I'd never met Diddy in my life. We were actually on tour, I was about to go on stage to do a huge French television show and [my managers] were like, “Diddy wants to talk to you”. I was totally nervous. I get on the phone and he's like, “I saw in that video, 'Buttons'. I've studied you, watched everything you do, you've got the eye of the tiger. I want you to do this song with me, the first single off my last album”. And I freaked out', Nicole told MTV News. Since the collaboration proved more than successful, the brunette thought of going one step further and releasing a solo album. For that, she worked closely with hit producer Timbaland, Will.I.Am, Akon, Polow Da Don and Sean Garrett and the material will come out some time next year.
