Gyllenhaal Welcomes Baby Girl

Actors Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard have welcomed a baby girl into their yet unformed family. Both of them announced last April that they got engaged and, at the same time, let it slip that Maggie is pregnant with their first child. The two stars said then that they would be tying the knot sometime in the future, although no exact date has been set for the ceremony. 'I will certainly take some kind of break. But I'm really trying not to anticipate what it will be like to have a newborn baby. I have no idea, and I'm going to wait and see how it feels, really make decisions when I know more about being a mother than I know now', the glowing mother-to-be added. Yesterday, Maggie was rushed to the hospital after she entered labor two weeks before the anticipated moment. A couple of hours later, Ramona Sarsgaard was brought into the world and 'mom, dad and baby are healthy and happy', Gyllenhaal's publicist confirmed.
