Charlize to Star in Boyfriend's Movie

This is not the first time that the sexy actress and her beau work together, but it is the first when they meet on the same set but from different sides of the lens. Charlize Theron signed in to work with the Irish-born actor Townsend for 'The Battle of Seattle'.

The drama will focus on the peaceful march that quickly turned into a violent riot in 1999, during the World Trade Center Organization meeting in Seattle. What initially started as a silent protest became soon a national situation, and the project aims at exploring just that.

The script - penned by Townsend - will present the story from a more subjective point of view, with events unfolding as seen through the eyes of the key characters.

Maybe considering that this is, after all, Townsend's directorial debut, Charlize is said to have brought a bunch of her friends, too, to star in the movie. Apparently, she convinced Ray Liotta, Woody Harrelson and Andre '3000' Benjamin from Outkast (fresh off his acting success with 'Idlewind') to appear as major characters in 'Seattle'.

'Variety' informs that Stuart decided to use real footage for some scenes of the riot, in order to achieve a more realistic perspective. Production will begin in November and shooting will take no more than five weeks, in Vancouver and, obviously, Seattle.
